Sometimes J.K. Rowling uses a whole series of tweets to take someone down. Sometimes she only needs a couple of tweets.
And sometimes, as in this case, she doesn’t even need to use the full 140 characters.
On Tuesday evening, journalist Natasha Bertrand shared the following image, taken from an interview between Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson and “Oracle of Los Angles” and self-proclaimed witch Amanda Yates Garcia:

Donald Trump isn’t going to be happy about this.
Oxfam has rented Trump’s childhood home in Queens, and invited refugees who resettled in the U.S. from Syria, Somalia (two of the countries in Trump’s proposed travel ban in March), and Vietnam there to share their stories in the president’s former home.
The anti-poverty organization says they wanted to send an “unequivocal message” to the US president, who is expected to speak in front of world leaders at the UN’s General Assembly in New York, that “refugees are welcome here.” Read more…

No matter what Donald and Melania Trump’s relationship may actually be like, there’s no denying from the outside it can look supremely awkwardFrom the hand slap to the slow dance, and now this.
After introducing “The Donald” at a public address at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, Melania and her husband shared an affectionate… handshake. Unleash the Kimmel.
Kimmel calls the handshake “the most uncomfortable display of affection between any husband and wife this year,” as well as highlighting an almost equally awkward interaction between Melania and a small schoolgirl. He finishes the segment on a short tribute to the Trumps’ most affectionate moments. Read more…

Joe Biden, the former vice president of the United States, is tired of Donald Trump’s crap.
On Sunday, Trump retweeted a GIF of himself hitting a golf ball into Hillary Clinton. (The user Trump retweeted, by the way, had posted anti-Semitic and anti-trans messages in the past.)
Joe simply wasn’t having it. So on Monday night, he tweeted out this:
Just had the chance to see President Trump’s golf swing tweet. Enough. This has to stop. Our children are watching.

Sadly, I don’t think Trump is going to listen. He was widely criticized for sharing a video of himself body-slamming CNN over the summer, and that didn’t stop him from tweeting or making crude comments. Read more…

The first time the Hollywood glitterati had a chance to sling barbs at Donald Trump as a sitting President, it was the Screen Actors Guild Awards — just a few weeks after his inauguration. By our count, they seized their opportunity to throw shade a total of 13 times.
Well, after another eight or nine months of this administration, the gloves are really off.
It started with Stephen Colbert’s opening song — who didn’t see that coming? — and continued through the night.

Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer made a surprise appearance at the Primetime Emmy Awards, poking fun at his past comments about the television ratings of President Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony.

Our president can rest easy tonight, knowing he finally got a big Emmy win — only in the form of Alec Balwdin accepting his award for impersonating him on Saturday Night Live.
“I suppose I should say at long last Mr. President, here is your Emmy,” he said, addressing the leader of the free world through his preferred manner of communication: television.
Baldwin’s joke was made in reference to Trump’s hurt feels over never winning an Emmy for his reality TV show, The Apprentice. Earlier in the night, host Stephen Colbert played a clip from the 2016 presidential debates showing that Trump still hasn’t gotten over the “Emmy snub.” Read more…

If Pete Souza keeps it up with his Instagram responses to President Trump, we’re going to start thinking he doesn’t like the guy!
On the morning of Sept. 17, Trump referred to Kim Jong-un as “Rocket Man” in a tweet (shortly before retweeting a video in which he hits Hillary Clinton with a golf ball — it’s been a big day for the president). While the taunting nickname is bizarre in the context of things American presidents have said throughout the nation’s history, it’s just another Sunday morning for Trump.

Just for once, it would be delightful to wake up on, hop on Twitter, and not see Donald Trump acting like a complete idiot.
Our immature commander-in-chief has once again outraged everyone with an unhinged Twitter retweet. On Sunday morning, Trump retweeted a GIF depicting his golf swing hitting a golf ball right into Hillary Clinton’s back, forcing her to fall over.
This. Is. The. President. Of. The. United. States. Of. America. Retweeting. Shit. Like. This.
Here’s the original tweet showing Trump’s “amazing golf swing”: Read more…
