There’s much we don’t know about Destiny 2. The raid is a (not at all surprising) no-show in previews, the system governing loot drops is a giant question mark, and the loot itself carries some inscrutable elements — such as mod slots — that will only be answered with the final game.
That said, this video clarifies how a huge chunk of the game works: PatrolsDestiny 2 brings back the original game’s open exploration spaces, but levels up the way those spaces work.
Cooperative “Public Events” have increased in both number and complexity, which promises to make these public co-op spaces feel even more lively. Those events are also joined by new Lost Sectors and Adventures that function sort of like mini-missions — you can stumble into them just by wandering around and poking your gun into every dark corner, and you get loot drops and story development as a reward. Nintendo isn’t making the NES Classic anymore, but ThinkGeek has a small hoard of them, ready to sell.
There’s just one catch: the $60 price tag is no more. ThinkGeek is bundling its entire NES Classic stock with an assortment of Nintendo swag, with prices ranging from $139.99 to $219.99.
For the sake of comparison, let’s take a look at the aftermarket NES Classic community on eBay. With the exception of some outlier listings from China — which may or may not be knock-offs — most new-in-box Classics are selling for around $200 these days. Read more…

Netflix is bringing another epic Matt Groening series to our lives.
The streaming company announced Tuesday it would be picking up twenty episodes of Disenchantment, a new adult animated comedy fantasy series from Matt Groening.

Game of Thrones has so many subplots going on, it can be hard to track of the constant question it poses. Namely: which character is most likely to end up on the Iron Throne — actually on it, not the power behind it — at the end of the story?
That’s the purpose of our ongoing power rankings, which we’re bringing you after every Season 7 episode. And the many events and foreshadowings of Episode 2, “Stormborn,” has produced quite a significant shift from the previous week’s rankings.
For one thing, you’ll notice Arya is no longer on the list. Her welcome decision to go to Winterfell wipes out the slim chance that she would end up on the Iron Throne by killing Cersei and wearing her skin, Walder Frey-style. Read more…

Top pick: Marvel’s The Defenders Season 1
New York’s local heroes — Manhattan, to be specific (sorry, Spider-Man) — take on Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver), who claims the two sides are at war for New York. There are ripples from villains of Daredevil and Iron Fist, but what you need to know is that this is a high-risk alliance banking on the off-chance four reluctant misfits will band together.
